Saint’s Row 4 PAX East Demo with Commentary
At PAX East this year Volition showed off Saint’s Row 4. But not everyone could attend, so the gameplay demo has been released with commentary. Several things are shown off including the Zen, a monster truck, and my personal favorite, the Dubstep Gun. I am a bit worried as to how much of Saint’s Row 4 is being shown. Part of the fun of Saint’s Row 3 was the constant surprise. Diving down a rabbit hole of escalating silliness is why I loved that game so...

From this inspiration came Secret Ponchos, a shooter with that stylish Spaghetti Western flare. Secret Ponchos is not your typical arcade shooter however...

A sigh of relief was breathed when Koch Media, better known as Deep Silver, purchased both Volition and the Saints Row franchise. Soon after, that sigh turned into a huzzah, at least for me it did, when the release date trailer was… released. The story goes that you, The Boss, have been elected president of the U.S. when aliens attack. The aliens put you inside a virtual...
Tips to Surviving PAX
PAX, and other gaming events, can be fun and exciting, but dangerous. Not only do you have to deal with the physical strain on your nerdy body, but there is a biological war going on every time you step into the convention center. I have been on both sides of several conventions, not all of them gaming, and have a few tips to keep your pain to a minimum and your enjoyment to a maximum. These are specifically aimed at PAX but several could be used for any type of...
BattleBlock Theater’s Release Window Announced
The Behemoth released the release window for its upcoming game BattleBlock theater today by use of a nifty sea shanty. The guard did growleth as he pushed us out, Catnip stanking up each breath. “Your turn has come at last,” he mewed, His eyes aglow with death. In leaps and bounds, the course was run; We gave it every ounce of heart. So silently, the audience sat enrapt, That thou couldst hear a kitten fart. But when we came to that final jump Promising freedom from my...
