Microsoft’s E3 2015 trailer has given us a glimpse at everything we can expect to see soon out on the big stage, and a few things we can hope to. Watching the trailer above we’re treated to the obvious entries: Master Chief in Halo 5, Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, you know – the things we know about. Yet, eagle eyed fans who pay close attention will notice a shot of our favorite soul-patch donning meathead: Marcus Fenix. Could today be the day we finally get a...
We’re back for year two of the Into the Fray year in review. It’s been a wild year both in gaming and in life and I cant wait to share the highs from my personal gaming experiences. Since this is a new year I figured I would go with some new categories. We will look at Game of the Year, Indie Game of the Year, Best Character, Best PS+ Free Release of the Year and also look into the future with the Mot Anticipated Game of 2014. The winners in these catagories in...
In the spirit of Christmas and with Bioware teasing images of the new Mass Effect title that is currently in development, I figured it was time for me to put my two cents in and get my wishlist ready for the men and women developing the game. Having been a huge fan of the series since the original Mass Effect was released back in 2007, I have spent many hours speculating and dreaming about what the next installment in the series would have to offer. A lot of the time I...
The holidays are here and in celebration Playstation Plus members are being drowned in presents and discounts. Ever since the game was shown at E3 2013 I have been enamored with Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. Not only is the team at PopCap taking the series in a new direction by making it a shooter of sorts, they are allowing you to bring your friends along for the ride. The title will be releasing for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on February 18 in North America and February 20 in Europe, a PC release date has not yet been announced. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare was...
I think we can all agree that Playstation Plus has been hit or miss the past few months. Some of titles, like Hotline Miami, have been awesome, but there has been a huge AAA hole that has been present in all of our Instant Game Collections. December is set to change that in a huge way! The holiday season is kicking off with two major titles coming free to the PS3. Grid 2 (PS3)- The long-awaited sequel to the smash hit racing game was release in early 2013 and was met with...
Like many others I have been a long time fan of the Madden football series. It has provided a chance for children and adults alike to live out their gridiron dreams and bring our favorite teams to the pinnacle of sports. For those of us who have been loyal fans of the series we have seen a disturbing trend over the past few years. There has been less and less added to the series, and more and more it seems like each new iteration is just a glorified roster update. I have...
Spiders Studio has been on quite the roll with their last two titles, and now it appears we will get to see the culmination of their skills all rolled into one game. The new Bound by Flame trailer is indeed all CG, but seeing the work that has been done in their last two titles I fully expect a few things from this title. I expect that the combat will be fun, fleshed out and challenging. I expect that the story will be something that you do not see with a lot of other indie...
Guacamelee has been getting rave reviews ever since it burst onto the console scene a few short months ago. Now PC players are getting a chance to get their hands on this action packed title thanks to the wonderful men and women at Steam. Guacamelee is the story of a down on his luck luchador named Juan who embarks on an incredible mission to save the woman he loves after she is kidnapped by evil forces beyond his comprehension. If the story sounds a little generic and...
If The Division is any indication then the new generation of gaming is going to bring us to a new level of interactivity. The Division Companion Gaming Trailer shows us just how involved our friends can be in our game without truly being in front of their console. The trailer reveals just how players will be able to participate in this possible smash hit from the comfort of their tablet, wherever they might be. We watch as the tablet player heals his companions, tags...
