Just spotted on the GameStop pages for Destiny was an actual date for Destiny’s, not just the simple placeholder we’ve been seeing. It looks like Bungie’s gamechanging open-world FPS may be coming to us earlier then expected. June 30th, 2014. This makes sense, if you think about it. Getting the game into gamers hands before the annual Call of Duty will give Bungie a leg up with their new IP, while still ensuring it’s available when the holiday season...
We’ve all been stuck in this situation: your most anticipated title releases in just a few days, but there’s a problem; you’re broke. You need cash, fast, and your only source of cash is that stack of games sitting on your shelf. You could take them to GameStop, where you might get a fourth of what you paid for them or less, or you can get the big bucks for your favorite games. Wondering how? Let me explain. My personal favorite is Glyde; I’ve been using Glyde for a...
I’m tired, guys. I’m dead tired of these rumors. I love rumors just as much as you. I like to know what’s happening next before it’s happening – that’s what my career is based around – but damn it guys, I’m tired. I’m tired of all these rumors around the next Xbox. Sure, I want to know what’s coming next and I want to know when it’s coming, but stop! Every day it seems that something new is coming out. Just today, The Verge proclaimed that the next Xbox...

It turns out that demand for Nintendo’s new console is beating expectations. Even though the Wii U Deluxe Set is priced at an expensive $349, GameStop seems to be getting a lot of customers pre ordering it. I personally went to GameStop to pre order one and found out that I came right on time. GameStop has set aside a specific number of Wii U Deluxe Sets for all stores in the US. Once that number fills up, GameStop will stop taking reserves. Apparently, I got...
So Hitman:Absolution is coming, and of course there are pre-order bonuses to be had when you purchase the game in advance from retailers like Amazon, and Best Buy, but Gamestop just may have one of the more kick-ass promotions I have seen in a while. Starting May 15th, when you pre-order Hitman:Absolution from Gamestop, you will receive a copy of Hitman: Sniper Challenge, a standalone mission that get right away as a download code through Xbox Live or PSN. PC gamers will...
