The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Announced

Neocore Games has announced a brand new IP that is being developed for the PC and XBLA, the story features legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing to a new audience and will be loosely based on the “Dracula” novel by Bram Stoker. An action RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is set in a pseudo 19th century Europe where the son of the legendary vampire hunter has been enlisted by former foes to take out a new scourge that has been ravaging the eastern European city of Borgovia. With an insanely beautiful gothic art style and engrossing storyline this one has the chance to surprise and enthrall gamers from beginning to end.

Being located in Eastern Europe and having experience developing RPGs, Van Helsing is a natural fit for us; it’s a project where we can demonstrate our expertise in both domains and create something novel that RPG fans can appreciate, said Viktor Juhász, lead writer at NeocoreGames. We’ve always enjoyed crafting games from legendary tales, but with our own twist, and Van Helsing provides us the perfect game world to experiment with.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is set to be released in Q4 2012 release.
