Nerds far and wide should rejoice to the news that renowned director J.J. Abrams, and Valve CEO Gabe Newell are in the process of creating Portal and Half-Life films. It was confirmed in keynote at the D.I.C.E Summit, a gathering of video game executives, that the two had exchanged ideas and are anticipating working together in the future. This excites me to no end knowing that this has potential to actually happen, seeing as so many video game movies in the past have failed to surface. These two games are very prestigious titles to myself as well as the gaming community and capturing their essence into movie form will not be easy.
Portal and Half-Life Movies In Development
this would be a horrible idea for a movie noone wants to see these games turned into movies.They are stand alone games that don’t need to be touched. If they are going to do portal why not throw left 4 dead in there as well.
I would watch a L4D movie.
