Pokemon Tournament for Legendary Supremacy

Written by Chris Lock

We have all had this debate, Mew vs. Mewtwo, Groudon vs. Kyogre, Shaymin vs. Uxie. Actually I am sure that almost all of you have never had this debate with anyone, ever. But for the few, and quite possibly insane, of us that have argued over these questions Nintendo has the solution. A full on battle to the faint!

An official bracket tournament has been set up to determine the greatest Legendary Pokemon from generation 1 through 4. Currently there is preliminary fighting between the three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) that are going up against the three legendary dogs (Entei, Raikou, and Suicune) for placement on the 32 Pokemon bracket. I am very curious as to why these Pokemon have to battle it out while sure fire losers like Uxie and Manaphy are guaranteed spots on the chart. Also why is there no love for Gen 5?

You are able to vote once a day and each bracket lasts for a week. Along with bragging rights the winners will take over the official Pokemon website for one week. Additionally a “special downloadable prize pack” will be available for everyone, presumably based on whichever Pokemon wins. Lastly Hot Topic will produce a shirt in honor of the winner. So please, for the love of Arceus, do not let Mesprit win. Please.

    • It is because they have the competition set up all wrong. Why is Entei going up against Zapdos? Both of them deserve to win, and both Moltres and Suicune are against eachother. Both of those losers can get PSN and faint for all I care.
