Call in your sick days, skip school, drop everything folks, Halo 4 now has a solid release date of Tuesday, Novemeber 6th, 2012.
Phil Spencer, corporate VP of Microsoft (Game) Studios has stated: “We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4′ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experiences, Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, with ‘Halo 4′ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
While rumors were buzzing that tonight “Special Announcement” on the Conan Show tonight was Halo’s release date, it’s now official. November 6th is the day. We’ve prepared to dropped, finished the fight, and Taken Back Reach, but now it’s time to start the new trilogy. With Halo 4 being the first ever Halo game not produced by the series creator Bungie, it’s sure to be a wild ride with 343 Industries running the show.
Conan O’Brien will help to celebrate the release of the game tonight on his TBS show at 1AM Eastern, 11 PM Pacific.
