Bungie and the Official PlayStation Blog today revealed the box art for it’s upcoming game Destiny. Gone is the placeholder box art featuring the games mysterious traveler, and in its place is a new box pumped full of manly testosterone. The new cover shows each of our three types of heroes, the Titan, the Warlock, and the Hunter, each looking towards the traveler. The art style is done in a colorful and “poppy” style, which is a good departure from the gritty browned out covers we normally see in our AAA fall lineup.
While we have reasons to believe that Bungie plans on announcing a Destiny Beta later this week, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. It would make sense to announce the box art before announcing the official beta, as that’s sure to draw plenty of new preorders.
Destiny releases in 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
