Metro Redux, the rumored remaster of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light have been officially announced for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Both games will come packed with all of their respective DLC and be available digitally for $24.99 each, or collected in a retail package for $49.99. This is a great chance for fans of survival horror to get their hands on this creepy franchise if they happened to have missed it the last time around. The collection, presented in full 1080p...

PAX East 2014: Hotline Miami 2 Hands-On Preview
Once in a long while a game comes along that’s the perfect mix of the old and new. In 2012, that game came in the form of Dennaton Games’ Hotline Miami which was highly praised for its tight gameplay and retro style. Now, two years later fans will get to revisit the brutally violent world that Dennaton has created. Taking place in the early 1990’s, Hotline Miami 2 puts you in the shoes of a group of fans of the first game’s events and as the trailers...
Second Titanfall Patch Nerfs Gooser, Players Rejoice
The second Titanfall patch went live today with a ton of fixes, updates and most importantly, the nerfing of the Gooser regen requirement. In case you don’t know, you must complete specific challenges in order to regen in Titanfall (which is much like prestige in CoD). One of the challenges for the level 5 regen was called Gooser. You were expected to kill 50 ejecting pilots in order to proceed to the next gen. This is a difficult task and the community let Respawn...
The Elder Scrolls Online Hands-on Preview – Just What I Want
Thanks to Bethesda, over the last month I’ve had the pleasure of entering the world of Tamriel for two weekends, through the Elder Scrolls Online beta of course. Many of the questions I had for ESO have been the same questions I’ve wondered of every MMO since my time in WoW and Aion. “Are there only fetch quests?” “Do the quests form boring and short story lines that don’t build upon the larger world” “Do I have to kill 3 dogs...
Dark Souls 2 Prologue Trailer 1
Having recently completed Dark Souls my hype glands are working overtime for Dark Souls 2. From Software captured lightning in a bottle twice and seems well on their way to doing it once more. But until its release we must feed on souls, er, trailers in order to satiate our dark desires. So enjoy the Dark Souls 2 Prologue 1 trailer. Judging by the title I assume there will be another very soon. Gamers who pre-order the game will be upgraded to the Black Armor Edition which...
Horizon Review – Turn-Based Space Strategy
I’m always looking for a new strategy game I can sink dozens of hours into and for the last couple of weeks that game has been Horizon. Developed by L3O and published by Iceberg Interactive, Horizon is a turn-based space strategy game. Following up my interest in StarDrive, I turned to Horizon. Does Horizon offer those hours upon hours of gameplay that a strategy should offer? Yes. You’ll choose from one of ten races. You can choose the technological level you...
The Humble Indie Bundle 11 is Awesome
The Humble Indie Bundles often range from amazing to mediocre with several sitting at average. This time, however, the offer is tilting heavily on awesome. The games included are: Guacamelee! Gold Edition – I reviewed this on PS3 and Vita and loved it. It was actually my 6th Platinum trophy. James reviewed it for PC and as his tagline suggests, you should bring a controller for the PC port. Dust: An Elysian Tail – I also had the privilege of reviewing this on Xbox 360...
Review: Adventure Park – Wins Worst Park Award
Adventure Park is just what you may think it is, a theme park management simulator in the same vein as Roller Coaster Tycoon. It has everything you’d expect in a theme park simulator, its got your roller coasters, your stand alone rides, mazes, drink and food stands, themed decorations and more. With Adventure Park providing you with all you’d expect from this type of simulator, does it pull it altogether to give you those dozens (hopefully) of hours of gameplay...
Playstation 4 and Xbox One See Elder Scrolls Online in June
The much anticipated (at least by me) MMO from Bethesda, The Elder Scrolls Online, has a release date. It will be coming to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One in June 2014, with the PC and Mac versions coming in April. With this announcement, they also released a new trailer for ESO (which is posted at the bottom of this article), displaying some of the massive battles players will be able to partake in this coming summer. Game Director Matt Firor posted on Bethblog, Game...
Project Spark’s Open Beta is Now Live
The “create your own open world” game, Project Spark, has begun its open beta. Earlier this year the registration for the Project Spark beta began, and if you signed up, you’re probably all ready to go. As of right now, the beta is open globally but only to Windows 8.1. An open beta will be coming to Xbox One in early 2014. Betas for both Windows 8.1 and Xbox One will run until Project Spark is launched next year. As mentioned on Xbox Wire: Since “Project...
