Project Spark’s Open Beta is Now Live

Written by Barry Villatoro

The “create your own open world” game, Project Spark, has begun its open beta. Earlier this year the registration for the Project Spark beta began, and if you signed up, you’re probably all ready to go. As of right now, the beta is open globally but only to Windows 8.1. An open beta will be coming to Xbox One in early 2014. Betas for both Windows 8.1 and Xbox One will run until Project Spark is launched next year.

As mentioned on Xbox Wire:

Since “Project Spark” was announced at E3 in June, hundreds of thousands of fans have signed up for the closed beta, which has begun rolling out today. Starting exclusively on Windows 8.1 and available to fans on Xbox One early next calendar year, registered beta participants are welcomed to a dynamic community where players create and creators play. The beta for both platforms will continue until the product launch next year.

If you haven’t signed up yet, you can still head over to Project Spark’s website and sign up now.
