Game Workshop’s Mordheim will get a video game adaption and I could not be happier. I am a Games Workshop fanboy. Even as I write this my living room table has three separate warhammer armies in different stages of completion. So when I read that another one of their tabletop games would get a video game adaptation, I peed my pants a little bit. You know, in excitement. Focus Home Interactive, the same company that published Blood Bowl, and Rogue Factor formally announced...
Spiders Studio has been on quite the roll with their last two titles, and now it appears we will get to see the culmination of their skills all rolled into one game. The new Bound by Flame trailer is indeed all CG, but seeing the work that has been done in their last two titles I fully expect a few things from this title. I expect that the combat will be fun, fleshed out and challenging. I expect that the story will be something that you do not see with a lot of other indie...

Final Exam (formerly known as Obscure) is an action-packed 2.5D side-scrolling action title that is sure to bring pleasure to gamers and fans of the teen horror genre alike. Featuring online and offline co-op players are cautioned to not take this title lightly. With its cartoon style and goofy characters it may take some by surprise when they find that there are some true survival-horror elements to this game. Limited ammo and health packs, hordes of enemies and plenty of...
Before E3 there were very few in the gaming community who knew anything about Contrast. After the show this has changed rapidly and furiously. This intriguing mystery/puzzle game was being shown at few locations on the E3 floor and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. Of course the game was being shown at the Focus Home Interactive booth, but the amazing part for the devs of this title is that they were also playable at the PS4 booth as well as the PSN couch. With...
Mars War Logs Voice Acting has been described as disappointing for a lot of gamers. The game was originally recorded in French and the voice acting that was recorded for the US version just wasn’t up to par. Instead of sitting back and allowing this to be their finished product Spiders Studio stepped up to the plate and re-recorded everything to bring a most realistic experience to US gamers. The update is free for the PC version and is promised to be included once the...
Blood Bowl II is an interesting mixture. Serving as the “sequel” to the 1987 board game released by Jervis Johnson, this title takes the original premise and is bringing it to PC players in 2014. Blood Bowl is a pseudo football game based in the Warhammer universe. Two teams, one ball and a very simple objective. Get the ball into your opponent’s end zone by any means necessary. The tactics in how players reach the end zone are what make this title...
