Before E3 there were very few in the gaming community who knew anything about Contrast. After the show this has changed rapidly and furiously. This intriguing mystery/puzzle game was being shown at few locations on the E3 floor and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. Of course the game was being shown at the Focus Home Interactive booth, but the amazing part for the devs of this title is that they were also playable at the PS4 booth as well as the PSN couch. With players and journalists able to get their hands on this title is so many locations it gave the developers very little time to fully explain the title to the public. They did get a chance to have a private demo for the press which the team was very excited about. Contrast emerged from E3 with more than just momentum, they brought some awards home with them as well. The awards they won or were nominated for include but are not limited to the following:
- Best Platformer from Jeuxvideo.com.
- Best Platformer from Gamercast.net.
- Best Indie from EGMnow.com.
- Best of E3 (one of 8) from Sidequesting.com.
- Best Indie from IGN.com.
