When I was young my parents bought me Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus for Christmas. Being a dumb kid, I had no idea of the cultural significance the Oddworld series had at the time; I was just in it for the farting. Fast forward many years later and you find a teenage Chris that could actually beat the game. Even though by that time it was an ‘old’ game, I still loved the atmosphere, puzzles, characters, and farts. I never sold that copy, it sits alongside many of...

Where do I even begin with this weekend? I don’t really know where to start so I’ll just take it from the top. I was practically bouncing and literally buzzing with excitement as I counted down each of the last 7 days leading up to Beyond (BEYOND!) 300 on Twitter. That excitement turned into distress and turmoil when I found out my plane was delayed an hour and a half. Determined to make the show, I persevered and kept a positive attitude. I thought out the plan...

As we all well know, a dear friend to all gamers, Ryan Davis, recently passed away. Both Kenny and I were fans of his work and thought we might share a post, detailing our remorse for his demise. With his signature intensity intact, The Warrior brings a nostalgic feel to the first 2K Sports iteration of the ultra-popular WWE games...
The mighty Spartan warrior Kratos has returned! This time however, he is not on a warpath to exact revenge and bring about the destruction of Mount Olympus. Rather, God of War Ascension is the story about the beginning of the hardships and woes of our fearless hero, though you may not know that because it is easy to feel ‘not quite up to speed’ by the end of the opening cinematic; this tale seems to start midstride. Taking place over an entirely different storyline than...
Ratchet & Clank Into the Nexus was announced this week by Insomniac Games. It has been a while since fans of the series have had a full-fledged single player title from one of the most beloved platformers in gaming history. The best part of the new title is that it is coming exclusively to Playstation Network for the low cost of $29.99. While this might worry some of the more hardcore fans in the series, the games trailer shows that Insomniac is giving this installment...
