In this episode Barry takes a vacation and leaves Chris to flounder in the big seat. This results in much gushing over A Link Between Worlds, depression around Papers, Please, and Chris mixing up Half-Life 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Kenny Rioux was kind enough to join the cast and shared his thoughts on Gone Home and Steam trading cards which he buys and feels bad about. Matt also aired some of his disdain for the most recent Batman trilogy, but only some; the rage still sits...
While Steam may have blown us away with more phenomenal sales Sony had this gem sitting quietly on their store. You can get the season pass to Season 2 of The Walking Dead for only $15. The full game once sat at $25, which it is probably well worth, but why not pick it up for a bit cheaper? The sale ends on January 7th though, so do not dally. Season 1 was in our top 5 Games of the Year in 2012 and if Season 2 is near as good I will personally be batting for it in...
In this week’s Watch this Wednesday prepare to be both amused and terrified. Skyrim has been modded beyond belief to be extremely pretty, feature My Little Pony and to give women… clean faces? All other mods before fall to their knees in front of this very simple model replacement. Behold, Thomas the World Eater!
Other game companies must wonder why people are so in love with Valve and Steam. It is because they do things like this. Everyone with a Steam account can go grab Left 4 Dead 2 totally free. Normally I would add something here about how I stayed up until midnight for the original release of this game but it is Christmas. So go grab the game and spend time with your family as it installs.

After a brutal battle of votes the co-star of the EA SPORTS UFC cover has been set with Alexander Gustafsson. He and Jon “Bones” Jones will both adorn the cover, probably looking manly and sweaty. This comes shortly after the news that Jon “Bonez” Jones will be a playable character in EA SPORTS UFC. More fighters will be revealed in the coming weeks and will eventually total nearly 100 playable strongmen. I know very little about Jon...
The Walking Dead Season 2 is almost upon us. With this release comes the typical trailer full of dramatic feelings and feels. The trailer contains nearly no spoilers, but if you want to stay completely in the dark, avoid it. The Walking Dead: Season 2 will be available starting December 17th and Steam users can Pre-order it for a reduced price.

When the 2DS was announced many thought it was a sad joke. I saw at as an opportunity to play Pokemon for less than $200. Apparently Nintendo thinks the same thing because new Pokemon X and Y 2DS bundles are coming to the U.S. Starting tomorrow (December 6th) you will be able to purchase a 2DS preloaded with Pokemon X or Y for $150. It is only a total savings of $20 but that is better than no savings at all. The systems will differ depending on which store you buy them from...
This remake of the phenomenal Super Hexagon, names Micro Hexagon, was ported to the Commodore 64 as part of the 2nd RGCD C64 Cartridge Development Competition. A competition which challenges you to create a functional Commodore 64 game within 6 months. More detailed info can be found here. The video shows that this is a pretty faithful recreation, though fans of Super Hexagon may recognize several missing patterns. One thing it definitely nails is the music. Actually, I...
