Oh my golly, holy jeez! Alien: Isolation, the new Survival Horror game from developer Creative Assembly was recently announced, and I couldn’t be more excited. This looks to be the first truly terrifying game in the Alien series of games and for good reason; It’s a continuation of the original film and the team looks to be taking cues from the best the genre has to offer.
There’s no beating around the fact, Ridley Scott’s Alien is my favorite film of all time and that Creative Assembly seems to love the movie just as much gives me hope. After the debacle that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, it’s nice to see a developer that isn’t focusing on Cameron’s sequel for once and in fact is trying to ignore the fact that that game ever existed.
Available for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 this winter, Alien: Isolation looks about 15 kinds of horrifying. Stay tuned to LevelSave for all the information you can handle.
