What we learned from Battlefield 1’s first livestream

Written by Austin Griffith

EA has been putting on a celebrity livestream to showcase Battlefield 1’s multiplayer reveal, below we’ve listed some interesting things we’ve learned:

  • Spotting an enemy places their class over their head, as opposed to just a dot.
  • Medics throw syringes and bandages
  • Tanks are referred to as ‘landships,’ as they were during the war
  • Sounds have been given an amazing improvement
  • You can charge for an immediate kill with your bayonet, similar to the retro lancer charge in Gears of War 3
  • Sniper scopes have field of view outside of the scope
  • When the Zeppelin crashes it destroys everything under it and debris stays throughout the match
