Finally, with the summer coming to a close and children begrudgingly huffing off to school, a light begins shining in the first fallen leaves. It is a warm light, flickering and bobbing, offering hope to the downtrodden. It is the light of a torch, it is Torchlight II.
Having played much too little of the beta, I am so pleased to announce that this game will be hitting digital shelves on September 20.
We worked incredibly hard to make sure we could release Torchlight II before Summer’s official end. Development will continue right up until we ship, and we couldn’t be happier to be putting the finishing touches on a great game. We want to get it to the fans as quickly as possible. Honestly, we can’t wait.

The Diablo III killer is being prominently exhibited at PAX Prime where the fully polished second act will be available to play.
Torchlight II will be available on Steam, Runic Games, Perfect World GamersGate, GameFly, and GameStop when it is finally released to the public.
