Indie studio Tequila Works announced it’s first title Deadlight today. Releasing exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade in 2012 and published by Microsoft Studios, Deadlight follows a man attempting to traverse the apocalyptic west coats coast. Being called a puzzle platformer like Portal and Braid, it should be quite interesting to see what the tipsy team at Tequila works can come up with.
Based in Madrid and founded in 2009, the Tequila Works team includes members from Blizzard, Sony Europe, and many others who have worked in games such as Diablo 3, Heavy Rain, Overlord 2, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
Judging by the trailer, it looks like this may be another zombie game, with gameplay like Epic’s Shadow Complex and a story like Alan Wake, not that that’s a bad thing.
