Epic Games announced a new add-on for it’s blockbuster hit sequel and Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 3 today.
The new DLC pack called “RAAM’s Shadow,” will feature three more hours of campaign gameplay in which players will play as ‘Zeta Squad.’ A squad compromised of both new and old faces that fought during Emergence day – 14 years before the original Gears of War takes place – against the locust onslaught and the frightining General RAAM.
Players will play as Michael Barrick (from “Gears of War” comics fame) and comprised of familiar faces such as Lt. Minh Young Kim (“Gears 1”) and Tai Kaliso (“Gears 2”), and also includes a new female comrade, Alicia Valera. Along with the COG’s, players will also be granted a first at playing as General RAAM in a campaign setting. With his kryll shield and devastating attacks it’s truly set to be an amazing expierence.
The pack will be releasing in December for 1200 Microsoft Points or free for purchasers of the Gears 3 Season Pass. It will feauture 6 new playable multiplayer characters, 3 more hours of Campaign playtime, a delectable chocolate weapon skin, and more.
