Our Game of the Year List is Coming

Don’t worry readers, we have not gone anywhere, it’s just the holidays. We’ve also been rounding up our Game of the Year nominations. There have been some incredible games that have come our way this year, right? From retail Goliaths like the conclusion of the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3, to the downloadable giant-killers like Dust: An Elysian Tail and Journey. We had incredible games that were pure game play magic like Fez to games with no game play and all story like The Walking Dead: The Game.

There may be some argue-, disagreements in the near future of the LevelSave staff as we try to narrow down our Game of the Year list to the top five. Our top nominations as of now are;

• Mass Effect 3
• Journey
• The Walking Dead: The Game
• Borderlands 2
• Gravity Rush
• Spec Ops: The Line

Those are in no order and with only half of the staff having sent in their list so far, including myself. I still have to formulate my list as well. We should have our Game of the Year post up the first week on January if all goes according to plan. Until then, what are your favorite games of the year? what surprised you the most?
