The sequel to the downloadable hit, Orcs must Die!, has been announced. Coming as a downloadable game to XBLA and PC’s, Orcs Must Die! 2 takes place days after the ending of the first game. One thing everyone commented should’ve been in the first game was co-op play and now this time you’ve got it. Have a friend join as the Sorceress, an ex-War Mage that may be responsible for the destruction of the Order.
“In 2011, we implored players to kill the orcs. As many as possible. Yet, only 3.4 billion orcs have been slaughtered to date. The only way we will get to a respectable orc death toll is by adding another killing machine and cooperative play. Bring a friend and destroy the orcs!”
Orcs Must Die! 2 will have a new campaign in which you may choose as either character to play as, more enemies, more defenses and a new upgrade system. PAX East attendees wil have the opportunity to play the game at booth # 1172
Really looking forward to this one! Here’s hoping they can build on the success of the first one. I’m curious to see how they’ll tie it in with the story though…
It looks really good and I did enjoy the first one but I seriously think I got sick from playing it. I don’t think I have ever played a game so stressful in my life.
