New Xbox Update Adds Bing & Fitness Features [Update]

Microsoft quietly rolled out a new update today, which activated the new languages of Bing including Genres and Sorting, as well as switching up the layout of the homescreen which now has the avatar store linked right next to your avatar.

The second new feature is a new profile setting that asks for your Height, Weight, Age, and Gender for use with the fitness apps coming to Xbox Kinect later this year like Nike Fitness+. Update: Major Nelson (Larry Hyrb) has tweeted that this is a “…Spring update rolling out to a few this week –everyone else next week.” and that it contains “behind the scenes improvements & prep for future enhancements”
