Written by Barry Villatoro

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is basically the prologue to Phantom Pain and will be available this spring. Ground Zeroes will be available for $20 as a download on Xbox 360 or $30 for download on Xbox One and as a  retail copy for Xbox 360. A price for the Xbox One retail version has not been stated.

Ground Zeroes is the introduction to open-world of Phantom Pain. It specifically follows Big Boss as he infiltrates a prison, with Phantom Pain picking up where Ground Zeroes leaves off.

Hideo Kojima told OXM Online,

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been designed to introduce key elements, while setting up the events of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

  • Was pretty excited for this until I realized they’re basically charging $30 for a tutorial. Konami must really need the cash.
