Just When You Thought WoW Couldn’t Get Any Bigger, It Does!
As you all may know by now, the new expansion World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria was released September 25th, 2012. With just a little bit over a week of its launch, Mists of Pandaria sells 2.7 million copies. Not only does 2.7 million people bought the game but also the global subscriber base surpasses the 10 million mark.
“With Mists of Pandaria, we set out to expand on the sense of fun and discovery that’s always been at the heart of World of Warcraft — in addition to adding a huge variety of new content and features to the game,” this is what Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment had to say. “It’s been gratifying to see the results of all of the work we put into this expansion and to hear all of the positive feedback from players so far.”
The World of Warcraft development team has been working hard on the first major post-launch content update. Stay tuned on the weeks to come to know what the new features will bring!
