Written by Austin Griffith

It’s time yet again for a wonderful Halo: Reach Community Gamenight! While the prizes may not be as bountiful, the fun is sure to be doubled this time around. Join the LevelSave crew in an awesome night of gaming shenanigans with plenty of prizes! Shine that DMR and polish your plasma pistol because it’s sure to be a crazy ride!

Details:

Where: Halo: Reach for Xbox 360 (Purchase at AmazonXbox Live.)

When: Saturday, April 21st, 8PM EST to Midnight.

How to Join: If you’d like to participate in the Game night simply send a message or friend request to iKarmakazi on Xbox, Tweet me here, or comment on this post! We’ll have 13 slots minimum available, so join in! Bring your friends! Have fun! We’re looking for as many players as we can get. Bring your friends! In the event our lobby fills we will start up a second one
. Note: Players with microphones will be given priority over those who do not. If you join and do not have a mic or are not in gamechat you will be booted if another player asks to join.

What: Community Game night on Halo: Reach, stop by and game with the LevelSave.com staff, win prizes, and have a blast! We will be playing Big Team Battle, Infection, and Custom Games handmade by me. These include Old School Infection, Hitman, and others.

Prizes: Participants will be given Kinect Adventures Helicopter Props for use with their Xbox Live Avatars. Other Xbox codes will also be given out for winners of the games.

Custom Game type Specifics: (Rules will be more thoroughly explained at the game night.)

Old School Infection: Survivors Spawn in a large group next to a mass of vehicles. Weapons are available for pickup; otherwise, you have a Magnum. Infected have 300% speed. Alpha Zombie is given energy sword and gravity hammer, with all other infected given Energy Sword and Plasma Pistol for stopping vehicles. Infected must work together to immobilize human vehicles. Humans must band together to fend off the every growing Zombie Horde for as long as possible.

Hitman: One person is chosen to be the “Moderator.” This person will send a message to a member of the game night telling them that they are the Hitman. The moderator will pick up the in game “Odd Ball” and will be invincible. Simply walking around to “moderate” the game. The selected Hitman’s job is to kill every member of the enemy team without being found out. They can kill anyone they choose, but, if discovered they are the Hitman, they can be killed by other players. Please do not kill random opponents without being sure they’re the Hitman. Players must manipulate and band together with others to try and find out who the Hitman is. This game tends to get very stressful as well as become very challenging. Moderator will be me (Austin) to begin with and will change if someone requests it.

If you have any fun custom game types you’d like to see played, simply tweet or comment with a link to a download for it, and we’ll include it!

We will also be playing Big Team Battle, Infection, as well as many other public matchmaking games.
