Halo 4 has officially gone gold. 343’s first foray into the Halo world has been completed and is now in certification, and soon to be printed onto millions of discs just in time for it’s November 6th release when we can all get our grubby little Halo-lovin’ hands on the Chief again.
Frank O’ Connor, Halo’s Franchis Development Director was quoted saying
“We had a big piece of news yesterday back in the office, which is that the game is literally finished at this point,” said O’Connor. “They are handing it off through the various certification processes and that, and we’re done.”,
While 343 of course isn’t done with Halo 4, the game itself is completed and on its way to it’s release date. Halo 4 is also the first Halo to come packaged with two discs for the game, instead of one, (c’mon, ODST didn’t count as two discs!), so that’s sure to show how much campaign and multiplayer is really crammed into this one.
The sun has officially set on the production of #Halo4. That’s right… it’s gone gold! #cheers twitpic.com/ayybe0
