The hex grid, turn-based PvP game, GunSwords has been in open beta since the end of November. Now that more players have joined the beta, One Button Studio, the creators behind GunSwords, have decided they want to annihilate their players in front of an audience. Beta Bash, as it’s being called, is a series of events that will include giving players in-game rewards and perks including double game points. Other events will include live-streamed matches between players and the developers over Twitch. The Beta Bash starts today and will run on Thursdays and Sundays, for how long the Beta Bash will go on for, I’m not sure. The schedule is as follows as pulled directly from the GunSwords official forum:
February’s Beta Bash series can be broken up into the following weekly events:
• Double GP + Tin: Everyone who plays GunSwords during the Beta Bash timeslots – Thursdays for 24 hours starting at 6pm CEST/9am CEST and Sundays 12am CEST/3pm Pacific to 2am CEST/5pm Pacific – will receive double Game Points and Tin.
• Live Q&A + Dev Challenge Twitch Stream: Sundays from 12am-2am CEST/3pm-5pm Pacific players can join the official GunSwords Twitch channel – http://www.twitch.tv/gunswords – to challenge the developers in streamed matches and participate in a live Q&A session.
