Ghost Recon: Commander Announced for Facebook

Ubisoft has announced that award-winning studio, Lootdrop are bringing a new game to Facebook players utilizing the insanely popular Ghost Recon franchise. Commander which is an isometric tactical combat game is now available to play in the game center at no cost, players can choose to play the game as its own entity or also use it in furthering their experience along side Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (available now) or Ghost Recon: Online (available later this year). Unlockables will be available to those who play commander such as exclusive weapons and characters that can be used for play in both of the other Ghost Recon games. The game will feature 10 replayable missions, and dozens of mixable weapons for players to experiment with in order to complete their missions.

We are taking the popular Ghost Recon franchise and bringing it to platforms that allow players of all skill levels to enjoy at their leisure, on the platform of their choosing,” said Chris Early, vice president of digital publishing at Ubisoft. This is the basis of our companion gaming strategy that Ghost Recon Commander exemplifies so well.
