Current character data for Final Fantasy XIV Onlines current version will be saved for the last time on October 31st and will be making way for A Realm Reborn to take center stage. November 11th will be the day players save data will be transferred to a Realm Reborn for the very first time.
However, players looking to get an early fix of A Realm Reborn can apply to participate in any or all of the 4 alpha testing phases. During the alpha testing phases will have multiple “test and tweak” cycles to provide optimal results. All players with an active Final Fantasy XIV account will be eligible to test A Realm Reborn and details can be found on the games website.
