Nintendo saves my day by announcing Club Nintendo now allows gamers to use their club points to redeem or pay for downloadable games for Wii and Nintendo 3DS. From the looks of the snapshot posted on My Nintendo News by a reader, the games appear to be classics. However, there is no clear navigation on where to do to for this feature. Also, I believe the reader is in the UK or Europe version of Club Nintendo.
If these games were more on the lines of newly released indie games such as what you’d find in WiiWare and 3DS shop, I’d be even more happy when I finally buy a 3DS next year. Checking out the Club Nintendo US version website, I see no changes offering to redeem your coins in for games.
