EA announced that Visceral games is working on a new Star Wars game focused on the story of entirely new characters.
EA also confirmed that Respawn Entertainment is working with Lucasfilm on creating a new Star Wars third person shooter. EA showed footage of motion capture actors dueling – suggesting the game has lightsaber based combat. Small bits of footage was showed a character walking on what looks like Tatooine or Jakku, swarming with TIE Fighters and Imperial ships.
