We’ve heard approximations concerning the Xbox One’s release date, and even official confirmation of it coming to us this November, but we may now an actual release date, accidentally coming straight from Microsoft themselves.
If you head over to Xbox.com, you’ll be greeted with a slider of ads. One in particular, the Call of Duty: Ghosts ad, when opened up shows that Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One will be releasing on November 5th. I’m no games analyst, but I know that the Xbox One will be releasing on a Tuesday in November, and companies don’t release games for a system that isn’t even out yet.
From this, we can deduce that the Xbox One will be releasing on November 5th, conciding with the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts, a franchise that Microsoft has a deep partnership with. In consideration, that’s a very smart move too. Everyone at the Call of Duty: Ghosts midnight launch will see the Xbox One being picked up, and anyone picking up an Xbox One in stores will no doubt buy Call of Duty: Ghosts with it.
This date would also ensure that Microsoft got its console out into the hands of gamers before Sony’s PS4 did, unless Sony chose the same date, which they certainly won’t.
Be on the look out for the Xbox One to hit store shelves on November 5th, 2013, coinciding with the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Actually it has been known for launch titles to release slightly earlier than their new console counterparts, especially in the case of games being developed for current and next gen consoles, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts
I dunno, cause on amazon it says BF4 is coming out in October for the ps4 but Im pretty sure the system isn’t coming out then
Yes, but we have a confirmed November release.
Ahh,well i hope the ps4 releases earlier as I don’t see it releasing in NOV aswell
