Previously games such as Assassin’s Creed 2 and Crackdown have been free for Xbox Live gold members. Now as part of Xbox’s Games with Gold promotion, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising : Case Zero are available to download for free for Xbox Live gold members. Dead Rising 2 which is normally $29.99 and Dead Rising: Case Zero, normally 400 MS points ($5), will be available to download for free until August 31st.

My Gold membership ran out the day these games were up to download. Kind of sucks I didn’t get them but I probably wouldn’t have played them for a while anyways.
I don’t want to complain about free games, but I’m gonna. Why can’t the Game with Gold games be somewhat newer games?
