Dana Said Knock You Out – UFC Undisputed 3

Written by Barry Villatoro

I am a huge MMA fan and have loved all 3 of the UFC games (Including the one on the Dreamcast.) So I was much delighted to finally hear of another UFC title coming our way.

In January of 2012, the much enjoyed UFC Undisputed franchise returns. Including the same hard-hitting knock outs, awesome submissions, and fantastic career mode that fans have come to love as well as much more. With this third installment we will see the introduction of two new weight classes, featherweight and bantamweight, Pride mode and also an amazing roster of more than 150 UFC fighters.

Pride mode will take the players into the legendary Pride Fighting ring, along with the brutal MMA rules it held. These rules included allowing soccer-kicks to the head, head stomps and ground knees to the head. Also changing in Pride mode is the announcers. No more Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg, but you will get to listen to the announcers of Pride, Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros.

In addition to Pride mode there is a new submission system, new moves, more responsive striking controls and also, as expected, a greater visual experience. Adding to an easier gameplay experience is the option to choose traditional or simplified controls for players who don’t want to remember hundreds of moves.

Last but not least, coming along with the visual experience is the much asked for, fighter entrances. Wanderlei Silva and Sandstorm anyone?!
