Review: Nintendo Digital Event 2015

Going in many believed that Nintendo had a lot to prove at this year’s E3. With the previous announcement of Zelda not showing up for the Digital Event people were looking forward to what Nintendo would show to fill the giant Ganon-sized hole, however it was not filled very well. Nintendo opened their press event by showcasing the new Star Fox title, Star Fox: Zero. Seemed like a pattern this year to open the event with the most anticipated game. Sony did it with The...

Into The Fray: Why the Wii U is Already Dead

Like many of my gaming counterparts Nintendo was the first console that I could truly call my own and is largely responsible for starting my love for video games. Hands-On Preview: Mario Kart 8

At E3 this year, one of the most eagerly awaited games among Nintendo fans was Mario Kart 8, the next big Mario Kart game set for release in Spring 2014.  The new game keeps what everyone loves about Mario Kart with the addition of HD graphics and anti-gravity.  I got my chance to race on three courses from the upcoming game. The first thing I will say is that this clearly is a Mario Kart game.  It plays exactly like past games.  Everything from the boost...

Hands-On Preview: Super Mario 3D World

One of the most anticipated Nintendo games this year leading up to E3 was the 3D Mario action game Nintendo promised they would reveal at the show.  When Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed Super Mario 3D World, fans were quite shocked.  It’s a little different than we all expected, but my short hands-on time with the game proved that it is a Mario game with a lot of promise. Super Mario 3D World looks and plays exactly like Super Mario 3D Land on Nintendo 3DS...

Watch This Wednesday – Itsa Me… Shigeru?

Another highlight for Watch This Wednesday this week, this time taking the Beatles strategy and applying it to Mario – not to say they don’t do this in all their videos, they do, and you should watch all of them if you get the chance. Give this hilarious skit a chance and be sure your boss doesn’t see it laughing it up.

Put your ideas or pictures in the comments and the best ones will be put into our article and possibly receive a Call of Duty: Ghosts themed prize in the future. And another!
