many years have we waited for this? How many times have we had this debate with our friends, family, and coworkers? How long have wanted to to find out the answer to the age old question of who would win: Batman or Superman? Finally comes time to find out. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice sets out to give fans answers to the question we’ve all wanted answered since the dawn of time. Does it succeed? Note: this review is completely spoiler free. You’re...
Last night, myself and a handful of super fans were treated to the pleasure of watching Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice a few days early at various IMAX theaters around the United States. I took to Reddit to offer up my spoiler-filled musings from the night before, and you can read them all in question-answer format below. I’ll also be outlining a few of the major plot-twists that happen in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The very bottom of the post also...
“The people of Gotham need you.” Batman: Arkham Knight is arguably the title I’m most excited for this year, and Rocksteady games isn’t helping to alleviate that fact with this awesome new trailer. Showing off the new Grand Theft Auto V inspired “dual play” mechanic, Arkham Knight will allow you to take control of Batman, Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing, in a variety of settings. Judging by the trailer, it looks like we’ll be able to...
Merry Holiday of your choice, nondescript and easily offended gray blobs of the internet. Here’s hoping it gave you joy in a way that brought no pain to others. Except for the jerks who DDoS’d PSN and XBL. You guys just made everyone’s lives a little more miserable. Why? In the past few weeks I’ve done a few things, one of them has been continuing to read. In my long sojourn with The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People I came across something that stood...
Hello again internet residents! I’ve conquered my first two weeks of this experiment. As I write this I am struck with the same thought that plagued me when I started. “You’re not completely giving up gaming, since you can play once a week. This seems like cheating. This doesn’t seem hard enough.” Well shut up negative me because this is in fact harder than you thought. Addiction. That’s how I would describe my relationship with gaming. I...
Before we begin let us get my personal bias out of the way. I loved Batman: Arkham Asylum, loathed Arkham City, and did not even bother to play Batman: Arkham Origins. With that in mind, Batman: Arkham Knight has me hopeful. Current-Gen hardware is still something of a mystery in terms of what is possible. Rocksteady could create a living world, full of secrets and joy. They could also create a stark wasteland, full of meaningless collectables and even more meaningless fetch...
Hohokum! You know the skinny, Barry, Matt, and myself chat about games and junk. Topics include Batman, Year Walk, Project Spark, Rock Enemies, Matt and Chris’ jaws hitting the floor over Project Spark, Dark Souls, FFXIII, Persona 4, Candy Crush, and much much, well not that much, more! We’re now on iTunes! This Game is Broken 13 Intro music is 8-bit Introduction by EliteFerrex Final song is Batman Theme (Metal) by ArtificialFear
Warner Brothers and Rockseady has just announced the final piece of the Arkham trilogy to the world, Batman: Arkham Knight. Seeing the return of Scarecrow, Penguin, Harley Quinn, and more, the adventure is sure to be the greatest. While there are a few mysteries we still haven’t quite cleared up yet, such as Hush’s role in all this, there is also one big piece of the puzzle that we haven’t a clue on yet: The Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has released pictures of the Arkham...
![Amazon Black Friday PS3 Bundle removed from Calendar [UPDATE]](https://i0.wp.com/levelsave.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/black-friday-2013-ps3-bundle-removed.png?resize=375%2C195&ssl=1)
If you are anything like me you have been refreshing the Amazon Black Friday Calendar on occasion to check for any changes. The hope was that no changes would happen, but something did. Without explanation the PS3 250 Gig bundle, including The Last of Us and Batman Arkham: Origins, has been removed. The bundle still exists and can be found here. However, it no longer is on the Calendar page and thus no longer has a timer on it. It was originally supposed to go on sale at 3...
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, may be a mouthful of a title but it looks like it’s going to be a handful of a game. I was able to snag a hands-on 15 minute demo on PS Vita as well as 3DS where I tracked Catwoman through the Gotham city skyline and walked away liking what I saw. Developed by Aramature Studio, a team comprising of former members of Retro Studios, Blackgate is an adventure that is it’s own entity. Not simply a gimped version of its console...
