Titan Attacks! is the story of how one man can make a difference, even in difficult times. Especially in difficult times, even. As Earth’s last tank commander, you must single handedly defeat the entire alien force as you fight across the solar system.
Numerous tank upgrades, power-ups, boss battles, challenges, and a wide variety of enemies keep the game interesting throughout its hundred levels and five worlds. Retro-styled graphics maintain the atmosphere of the original, but at the same time manage to look sharp, clean and stylish. Classic sound effects and upbeat music complete the neo-retro experience. The score multipliers and the upgrade system between levels work together to allow less skilled players (like myself) to progress in the game, while at the same time providing a mechanic where pros can compete for obscenely high scores. (I love rail shooters, but those bullet hell games kill me.)
Titan Attacks! doesn’t break new ground by any means, but what it sets out to do, it does immaculately.

So someone mentioned to me that some people “might not know what Space Invaders is.” I called them a crazy liar, because they’re clearly wrong. Everyone knows what that is, of course.
But just in case someone (who is of course already familiar with it,) wants to re-remember Space Invaders: http://www.freespaceinvaders.org/
Note that Titan Attacks is a much faster-paced game than this.
