PS+ Starts July Off Right With Battlefield 3 Free To Subscribers

Written by Branden Wilson

Battlefield 3 Free 1Playstation Plus is at it again! After June knocked our socks off by offering us a litany of huge titles for free July is proof that PS+ isn’t slowing down any time soon. To start the month we are getting Battlefield 3 Free of cost. One of the most highly regarded shooters of this generation just landed in our hands and it is just the beginning to another stellar month. Unlike the Uncharted package we received, players will be getting their hands on the full retail version of this beautifully crafted shooter as the game will include the single player and full multiplayer content. While Battlefield 3 is clearly the star of the show, there is plenty of content for those who already own the game and there are hints towards unannounced titles coming later this month as well. PS+ subscribers will also be receiving the HD remastered versions of Jet Set Radio and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee at some point in July as well. Vita owners were not ignored in the latest update either. The handheld already has two awesome titles in Metal Slug XX and Dokuro announced for release this month.

July also kicks off the Summer Blast 2013 Sale which has announced discounts on games like Black Ops II, Arkham Asylum, Mortal Kombat and Shadow Of the Colossus to name a few. This month will also be the last chance for subscribers to download Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Cave and Germinator. If you are not doing so already you can go and activate the game without downloading it so that it will be available to you in the event that you want it at a later date regardless of whether it is removed from the Instant Game Collection or not. This is just more proof that every PS3 or Vita owner should have an active subscription to Playstation Plus.
