Titanfall Alpha Signups Live, Respawn Clarifies on “Coming Days and Weeks”

Signups for the Titanfall Alpha have gone live, originating in an email coming from Titanfall’s publisher, EA, stating that they were looking for a small number of candidates to participate in a closed trial. While mainly speculation, it appears the only players eligible to recieve an invite were those who had played a copy of Battlefield 4 on Xbox One and had premium. When signing up myself, I was told I was approved and allowed to sign the NDA. My girlfriend, on the...

Review: Peggle 2 – Ode to Joy

Peggle is back, and it really is better than ever. The formula is all the same: shoot your balls and hit the pegs in a great mashup of plinko and strategy. You aim your shots and shoot your balls, gaining points and multipliers for every peg you remove. The goal is to remove all of the orange pegs from your board and get the highest score you can without running out of balls. With very little core gameplay changes, aside from the addition of new “armored pegs”...

Alien: Isolation Announced!

Oh my golly, holy jeez! Alien: Isolation, the new Survival Horror game from developer Creative Assembly was recently announced, and I couldn’t be more excited. This looks to be the first truly terrifying game in the Alien series of games and for good reason; It’s a continuation of the original film and the team looks to be taking cues from the best the genre has to offer. There’s no beating around the fact, Ridley Scott’s Alien is my favorite film of...

Watch This Wednesday: Unintentionally Hilarious DBZ trtailer

Dragonball has always been full of stupidity. Whether it’s characters yelling for a solid half hour or a 10 minute story taking 6 weeks to finish. So it should come at no surprise that this trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is crazy and stupid. The announcer is what makes this trailer though, he is so excited about the potential for online co-op, and he nearly messes his pants over menus. It’s had not to be infected by his extreme excitement though.

This Game is Broken 6

In this episode Barry takes a vacation and leaves Chris to flounder in the big seat. This results in much gushing over A Link Between Worlds, depression around Papers, Please, and Chris mixing up Half-Life 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Kenny Rioux was kind enough to join the cast and shared his thoughts on Gone Home and Steam trading cards which he buys and feels bad about. Matt also aired some of his disdain for the most recent Batman trilogy, but only some; the rage still sits...

Get The Walking Dead for $15 on PS3

While Steam may have blown us away with more phenomenal sales Sony had this gem sitting quietly on their store. You can get the season pass to Season 2 of The Walking Dead for only $15. The full game once sat at $25, which it is probably well worth, but why not pick it up for a bit cheaper? The sale ends on January 7th though, so do not dally. Season 1 was in our top 5 Games of the Year in 2012 and if Season 2 is near as good I will personally be batting for it in...

Tis the Season to Trash the ‘Trash Talkers’

Humanity can stretch even to the boundless arena that is online game play through your favorite consol. What I mean is that even in online game play known for trash talking to other players if you open your mouth and say something wrong, there still can be that one person that can change your mind and show some compassion. Judson, a 17-year-old gamer from Florida started playing video games with a Playstation 2 and has been on Xbox Live for the past 6 years banking a lot of...

Left 4 Dead 2 is Free on Steam this Christmas

Other game companies must wonder why people are so in love with Valve and Steam. It is because they do things like this. Everyone with a Steam account can go grab Left 4 Dead 2 totally free. Normally I would add something here about how I stayed up until midnight for the original release of this game but it is Christmas. So go grab the game and spend time with your family as it installs.
