More screen shots and a story trailer have been released for Sleeping Dogs, Square Enix’s newest third person action game being developed by United Front Games. Go undercover to stop the deadly Triads. Look for it’s release in the second half of 2012 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The land is a place of magic and mystery. Mages are powerful and benevolent beings who are looked to, not only for direction and wisdom, but also to rule over the lands they survey. One by one, the Mages came to realise that there is only one solution to the world’s perpetual and perennial problems, one Warlock to rule them all. The bond was struck and the test of might began between all the most powerful wizards in the world, who would become the Warlock? Nothing less...
Cyberpunk? Dystopian future? Evil corporate supersoldier? SIGN ME UP. Syndicate sounded like it had everything I wanted. Like Deus Ex, only crazy, evil, and immoral. I fired it up, ready to inflict some serious financial losses on my corporate foes; oh how they would pay for being foolish enough to cross whoever I worked for! Looking back, I can’t help but laugh at my naivete. You begin the game inadequately strapped to a chair. I say “inadequately” because...
Serious Sam 3 takes the series back to the styling and gameplay of the original. (A good thing, if you ask me. I didn’t like the cartoony style of the second one.) Despite the name, however, “serious” the game is not. Sam Stone consistently delivers so-bad-they’re-good one-liners throughout the game. Characters and dialogue are hyper-stereotypical and ultra-macho to the point of parody. (I hope it was intentionally humourous anyway…) Enemies...

With the release of the Vita Sony has made it a point to release every game digitally along side the retail release. Getting to this point was not an easy road though. There was a time, during the PSP, that games would release several months after their retail release. In fact some of those game just never made it to the Playstation Store at all. While you may not be remiss about a few annual sports title being left off the store there are a few titles that I feel are total...
A statement was released yesterday on the Capcom-Unity blog stating that the reason for the online issues of lag and sound interruption is the netcoding of the game. The netcoding was created to offer a smoother online experience (lag) but in effect the game has to let go of sound at certain points in order to make this happen. Capcom stated that the netcoding of SFxT differs from that of Street Fighter IV because of the amounts of data that is being shared, they needed...
Well, Square has released more screen shots and artwork of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. This time to show the Grid from Tron: Legacy, just as I was listening to that soundtrack, coincidence? Probably not, more like destiny. Any ways use the YouTube video to set the mood. The Grid music, Tron: Legacy
War of the Roses, a multiplayer action game published by leading strategists Paradox Interactive, is currently under development and slated to be released in the third quarter of this year. On the surface the game seems to be somewhat similar to Mount & Blade, though with notable exceptions: Your control of a knight, rather than a commander, being the first and formost difference between the two games; the greater focus on multiplay being a close runner-up. In fact...
EA just recently announced they plan on rolling out three more expansion packs for Battlefield 3. The first expansion was Back to Karkand, which featured the most popular maps from Battlefield 2 re-imagined in the Frostbite 2 engine. The Back to Karkand expansion didn’t just feature new maps, but also new dog tags, weapons and assignments for each class, unlocking more weapons. EA promises more of the same with the upcoming DLC. Battlefield: Close Quarters is...
