Gemini Wars is a space RTS, set in the Gemini sector. This is unfortunately just about the most positive thing I can say about the game. Gameplay in Gemini Wars is extremely slow. Ships move slowly, minerals collect slowly, ships and structures build slowly, ships fight slowly. There’s also no option to speed up the game, so be sure to bring a book. If the rest of the game was good, this first aspect might be forgivable, but sadly it’s just the tip of the...
THQ today announced that work for the upcoming Enter the Domanatrix pack for Saints Row the Third will no longer be a part of Saints 3, instead being used in there newly announced sequel to Saints Row the Third, which they aptly have titled “The Next Great Sequel in the Saints Row Franchise.” “When I looked at the Enter The Dominatrix expansion in production at Volition, I was blown away by the ideas and desire to expand the fiction of the franchise,”...
Saints Row the Thirds next big DLC was planned to be titled “Saints Row: Enter the Domanatrix” until THQ today announced that development for Enter the Domanatrix was going to be worked into the next iteration in the Saints Row Franchise, titled, “The Next Great Sequel in the Saints Row Franchise.” No other information was provided at this point, besides the fact that we will in fact be seeing yet another Saints Row from THQ. Hopefully they can work out...
Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny is the latest in the Spellforce series, which is a hybrid RPG/RTS. It’s a long-running series too, with the first Spellforce 2 game having been released in 2005. The graphics are definitely showing their age, but I’m a firm believer that visuals aren’t very important if the gameplay is there. (Dwar Fortress and Minecraft? So many hours.) This is also the first Spellforce game I’ve played too, so it was a new...

Developed by Minority Games Papo and Yo is a platformer at its core, but underneath the color it is a wonderful story representing the tough times in the life of its lead developer. Vander Caballero the creative developer of the game drew upon his own experiences growing up in South America with his abusive alcoholic father. The messages are not so blunt they slap you right in the face but for anyone who has dealt with alcoholism within their family can see immediately...
