Hello everybody and welcome to the very first edition of Watch This Wednesday! After making up my list of Ten of the Best Trailers, I found I loved sharing videos so much I just wanted to do it every week, and hey, the title is catchy. Watch This Wednesday will be a weekly feature where I’ll post a video (or a few) that I think you’d enjoy. It might be a comedy, like this week, an awesome trailer from years past, a cool Machinima, anything at all really. This...
I’ve watched this trailer three or four times this week, and I love it. It’s moving and quite frankly one of the best live action trailers I’ve seen in recent memory. I don’t know about you, but I’m very excited to see how Last Light turns out. What are your opinions on the trailer? Do you plan on buying it? Metro: Last Light releases May 14th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Although still unconfirmed it appears as though the next game in the Arkham series will be released sometime this year. In an investor call John K. Martin, Time Warner’s Cheif Financial Officer let this quote slip on by: And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. This, along with the registering of several new domains...
Special Forces: Team X is a game with a lot of heart. Developed by Micropose and Zombie Studios and published by Atari, it has all the inner workings of a great game. Deep customization an amazing selection of maps, running on Unreal 3, what could go wrong? You know what they say, the bad egg spoils the bunch. Before we get to the bad, though, lets talk about the good of the game. Special Forces: Team X features your standard customization character loadout selection...
Bungie has just announced via Destiny’s official facebook that the game will be given a full reveal this Sunday, February 17th. They also launched an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) yestderday, which is far too cryptic for me to even begin to look into without proper time. Be sure to try and figure out the ARG here. Of course, you can look for all the latest news on Destiny right here on LevelSave.com. That is, if I can contain my immense excitement of this to even write...

At this year’s D.I.C.E. Summit, Jenova Chen gave quite an amazing talk on Journey’s development and philosophies. The topics he discuss range from how terrible the original game was, to the parallels between the Monomyth and the Three Act Structure of most modern movies. He also brings into light some of the struggles That Game Company faced forging the feeling of companionship that is so refined within Journey. The entire video is fascinating and required...
Trailers have become somewhat of a standard for games nowadays, they’re truly the first glimpse into a games soul, and if they aren’t good, chances are no one will even glance at your game.
Nerds far and wide should rejoice to the news that renowned director J.J. Abrams, and Valve CEO Gabe Newell are in the process of creating Portal and Half-Life films. It was confirmed in keynote at the D.I.C.E Summit, a gathering of video game executives, that the two had exchanged ideas and are anticipating working together in the future. This excites me to no end knowing that this has potential to actually happen, seeing as so many video game movies in the past have...
I’m tired, guys. I’m dead tired of these rumors. I love rumors just as much as you. I like to know what’s happening next before it’s happening – that’s what my career is based around – but damn it guys, I’m tired. I’m tired of all these rumors around the next Xbox. Sure, I want to know what’s coming next and I want to know when it’s coming, but stop! Every day it seems that something new is coming out. Just today, The Verge proclaimed that the next Xbox...
