At this year’s D.I.C.E. Summit, Jenova Chen gave quite an amazing talk on Journey’s development and philosophies. The topics he discuss range from how terrible the original game was, to the parallels between the Monomyth and the Three Act Structure of most modern movies. He also brings into light some of the struggles That Game Company faced forging the feeling of companionship that is so refined within Journey. The entire video is fascinating and required viewing for Journey fans.
