At their E3 Press Conference today Microsoft has announced what all us gearheads have been waiting for: a remastered Gears of War experience. Featuring the fully playable campaign from the original game with beautifully remastered cutscenes from the team at Blur studios (the guys behind those amazing Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes), Gears of War Ultimate Edition will be landing August 25th, exclusively for Xbox One.
Microsoft also announced that Gears of War Ultimate Edition will be getting a one week public beta for the Xbox One, beginning today. You can sign up for the first come, first serve beta at the official Gears of War website.
