It’s officially official, guys. After being basically confirmed a few months ago after an artists resume listed his latest project as a Fallout 4 E3 cinematic trailer, the world has slowly been dying to learn more. It looks like tomorrow is the day. The official Fallout, Skyrim, and Elder Scrolls websites have all begun redirecting to Fallout’s page, displaying an old-school “PLEASE STAND BY” television picture with a countdown timer ending at noon tomorrow.

A little digging through the site’s code has revealed some hidden text saying “PA system failure has occurred. Shutdown of the Masterbrain has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes. Please attempt re-access. Have a pleasant day.”
Looking through the code reveals more details.
The sleuths over at Reddit have determined that the Masterbrain is something located inside “The Institute,” Fallout’s post-apocalytpic version of Boston’s MIT, basically confirming that we will in fact be visiting nuked-out Massachusetts.
