The Escapists has just launched on the PlayStation 4, following their original release on Steam’s Early Access (August 2014) and Xbox One (February 2015).
Developed by Mouldy Toof Studios and Team17 Digital, The Escapists is a game about one thing: getting out of prison. The idea of a jailbreak may sound tough to begin with, but this top-down puzzler tasks you with mundane activities within the prison, all slowly building to your eventual escape. From trade quests, build quests, and even some workout session at the jail’s gym, you must plan and execute your escape flawlessly, or head back to the slammer in disgrace.
Also available is the Alcatraz add-on, which gives you the even greater challenge of escaping from one of the world’s most famous prisons in San Francisco.
Both the game and DLC are now available on the PS4 for $19.99 and $2.99, respectively.
