The PlayStation 4 will have a sleep and wake button on the controller that will pause your game for immediate retrieval without turning the console off then back on. The console also has a background downloading chip so that you can play a game you’re downloading while it continues to download. It also has seamless uploading of gameplay recordings with a share button on the controller.
Sony has just showed off the PlayStations new dual shock controller, with tighter controls, a better rumble functionality, a touch pad and a headphone jack, and a light bar to identify players. It can also track the position of the controller in a way akin to the Wii. It also has a button that puts the console in a sleep-like state for resuming later.
