Is Bungie Planning a Destiny Beta Soon? Looks like it.

The Destiny fans over at Reddit have discovered something very interesting over on Destiny’s official website. Users of the website who tried to access the sites “news” page via an abnormal link were greeted with a broken, improperly formatted page, at the top of which shows a new link to a “Beta” page. The link, which is currently dead and points to nothing, appears to be an early sign that Bungie will be releasing a beta of the upcoming game...

Grand Theft Auto V, what most sources are citing as the most highly anticipated game of the year – and most likely the last game to receive this much hype for this console generation – has now been released. Just head over to our lovely Amazon store and pick up a fresh copy. Or not, if that’s your...

Call of Duty: Ghosts’ First Single Player Trailer Certainly Impresses

Activision and Infinity Ward this week released their first trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts and its single player mode… and oddly enough, it excited me. I have to admit I haven’t been a fan of Call of Duty in recent years, ever since Black Ops I’ve felt very unimpressed and unexcited for new additions to the series that’s why when Acitivison sent me the press release for the new trailer, I didn’t even bother to open the email. I...

Xbox.com No Longer Allows Purchases Without a Credit Card

It looks like Microsoft has removed the ability to purchase games on Xbox.com without having a credit card added to the account. While previously those attempting to purchase even free items would be able to go through with the purchase, Xbox.com now prompts users to change their payment method. If you don’t have any credit cards or PayPal accounts on file, they can’t make the purchase. This also will disallow members to purchase items using purchased Microsoft...

Recap: How Microsoft Redeemed the Xbox One

It’s been quite a few months since Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One to us, and since that time, quite a lot has changed. This has left gamers more confused then informed. Let’s take a quick look back at the past couple months and see exactly what happened to the Xbox One and what Microsoft has done to fix it. 5Review: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – Emancipated

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is an innovative game. An innovative game that I really, really wanted to enjoy. Yet I couldn’t. Confusing controls and repetitive puzzles simply took me to the point of no return. Why do I say wanted to? Let’s talk about that. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a game that puts you in control of two brothers, two sons, actually, that set out on a quest to find magical water that will heal their dying father. The story is told solely...

Stop the Nonsense: It’s An Xbox One, Not an Xbone

Note: This is an article I originally wrote the day after E3 three months ago. I’ve decided to put it back up in light of Major Nelson’s recent comment on NeoGAF, where he states “I don’t like it…it disrespects the teams that have put in thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product. Sure, it’s cheeky but I don’t care for it myself.” after being asked about his opinion on the name. I feel my two-cents well...

New Destiny Gameplay: What Did We Just See?

Bungie has just released their new Community Thank You video, and in it came a slew of new gameplay and ever before seen places and things. Let’s break down what you just saw. I’m going to walk you through each section of the video, excluding the parts that aren’t gameplay. First off at 0:30 we see a large orange monolithic temple. The orange and red hues leave me to believe this is a shot of somewhere on Mars. 0:35: We see a grassy stone area, which looks...

Bungie’s Latest Video is Full of New Destiny Gameplay, Awards, Awesomeness

Bungie has just released a “community thank you” video onto it’s YouTube, in it is a list of some of the best awards they received at Gamescom in Germany as well as a giant slew of new gameplay for the upcoming Destiny. Just from my first watch I’ve noticed new powers (something akin to Dishonored Blink, a knife being shanked), new locations including what looks to be Mars and possibly the Moon base, as well as our first look at the new enemies...

Updated – The PlayStation 4’s Dualshock 4 Will (Reportedly) Work on Computers

According to Redditor dzle, the developers of Galak-Z confirmed last weekend at PAX Prime in Seattle that all PlayStation 4 controllers will work on computers simply by plugging them in via the micro-usb connector without any finagling. It is also reported that the touchpad will also be able to be mapped like the touchpad on your everyday laptop. If this all comes to be true, the PlayStation 4 may just become the next generation controller you have to have for PC...
