Developed by Spicy Horse Games (Alice: Madness Returns) Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is an action RPG set in Edo-era Japan, also known as the Tokugawa period, which spanned from 1603-1868. With the historic setting, the game features monsters and demons from Japanese legend. The closed beta opened on November 2 with access granted to one thousand players to test game content and server loads. When the team is satisfied with server performance an additional five thousand players into the beta.
