(Author’s Note: All game play shown in this article is my own, captured on Xbox One, and shared via xboxdvr.com) Let’s be honest with each other for a moment. We’ve all played the Battlefield 1 Beta. Judging by internet reaction, captured metrics across all three release platforms, and YouTube saturation, everyone with thumbs that function normally gave Battlefield 1 a shot during the Beta test this past weekend.
Up next Sony E3 Sony Press conference 2015 is console exclusive Street Fighter 5. Street Fighter 5 was shown with gorgeous new gameplay. With Dead Island: Epidemic, another franchise threw its hat into the multiplayer online battle arena and let the public watch as the non-disclosure agreement lifted on its Closed Beta earlier this month. Courtesy of Austin Griffith, I was able to get into the closed beta and spend some time with Dead Island: Epidemic, cutely abbreviated DI:E, and loved my zombie-filled island getaway. The competitive multiplayer formula in Dead Island: Epidemic is addicting. Dead Island:...
